School in a Bag project of Smart was launch to bring
digital learning to remote communities. The event was held at Ludo Boardgame
Bar & Café last August 31,2016.
Representative of mobile leader Smart Communications went
to remote area and donate a learning tool package called School in a Bag. This
contains a solar panel for electricity, a laptop, a mobile phone, a pocket Wi-Fi
with starter load, LED TV and learning modules.
Smart wants to unite the island through internet
connectivity. Rawang Elementary School in Tanay Rizal and other remote
communities in Luzon, Visayas and Minadano would benefit from this
project. Smart in partnership with DEPed
will help enhance the learning of the student in remote areas with the help of
the School in a Bag
Individuals and organizations can also bring the gift of
digital learning to more schools in the country by sponsoring a School in a
Bag. Each package cost P100, 000.
