Dell
today announced it has once again topped the Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ)
region with 20.9% unit share in the x86 server market. According to the
International Data Corporation’s (IDC) Q4’13 Worldwide Quarterly Server
Tracker, Dell ended the year in the number one spot, overtaking HP.
IDC
reported that total x86 server shipments from APJ grew by 12% year over year
and 4.9% quarter over quarter.
